I own a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage and all searches said this switch would fit my vehicle as well as others. At first, with my old switch, turning the right turn signal would not automatically turn off and I would have to manually turn it off. I could live with this. Then one day I turned on the left turn signal and it stayed on constantly no matter what I tried except when the car ignition was turned off. I could not live with this and went to my mechanic to have him disable the turn signal. He unplugged the flasher so I could still use the switch to control my lights. When I did a web search on this problem I found a couple of other people with the same problem. There were many vendors with after market products to replace this switch. Luckily Amazon had this good part and with my Prime membership I could get a good price and guaranteed 2 day free delivery. There were instructions on the web to replace it. It should have only taken me 15 minutes to replace it but it took me 45 minutes. It works great, all problems solved, and I definitely would recommend this part from Amazon (no hassles returning if it didn't work) or other parts by the same manufacturer for different vehicles.
