Replaced my Vortex optic with this. Vortex is a great optic but shooting Steel Challenge in bright sunlight the dot would wash out. Not with the c-more 12 moa. Good color, easy brightness adjustment, on/off . Installed it on a Volquartsen Scorpion.I put this on a CZ Evo Scorpion PCC. The sight is super bright, very light, with very fast target acquisition. WARNING, make sure you order spare batteries as they are hard to find in stores. Excellent product and value. The OD green coloration is NOT a perfect match with magpul OD, but it is very close. I wish I had something in magpul foliage green to compare it with but unfortunately I do not, regardless of that, I am absolutely thrilled with the quality, the price, the packaging, and shipping. C-More is USA made, and its quality level is obvious as soon as you open the box. I think this sight is outstanding for an ultra light rifle on a budget as it only weighs 4.5oz, one thing some may not like is that zeroing, and attachment of the sight require tools, those tools are included, however one is relatively special to mount the sight. Be gentle with any zeroing or sight adjustment and don't go beyond any resistance you come up against, zeroing can be a bit of a pain, but once finished, and once the locking screws are tightened, you would likely break the sight off your weapon before losing zero. excellent battery life, although the batteries are of a uncommon variety as well. If you are a LEO, or Military, I don't think I would claim this sight to be as practical as an Aimpoint or an Eotech, but it is VERY good quality, and it is about half the money or less, even for the "tactical" model made from aluminum with built in rear sight. I have no doubts it would perform fine as a home defense weapon optic. This is a decent sight. The glass isn’t perfect. The dot isn’t perfect. And no 1 MOA or smaller dot is available. If you are clearing rooms then you are good. If you want precision out to 200 meters... I would look to someone that can provide a smaller dot.The brightness knob is also not intuitive. And almost not usable with gloves.I like it. But I wanted more from it.Great red dot, have the aluminum version mounted on my stribog. Good brightness on sunny days, best field of view out of other optics I own, only reason I'm giving it 4/5 is the windage and elevation adjustments are a bit of a pita compared to newer optics, and no auto shut off feature or anything like that its a competition optic so it's pretty straight forward .You get what you pay for. When you're finally ready to invest in a good dot and you've done your homework, this is the one. Got it for my HK USC. The gray doesn't match exactly, but the sight itself is fantastic. After one bore sighting, it has never required further adjustment. I think that's because of the unique design that spreads the controls and battery pack along the rail, instead of over it. Weighs very little and the brightness selector is solid and easy to find quickly with your hand, so there's no need to take your eye off the target. The design is rugged and clearly intended to take a beating. No cheap fit and finish here. The 2 MOA dot itself is clean and sharp; no sparkles or beams, even at 50% brightness. I was putting .45 rounds pretty much on top of each other at 50 yards. It's great looking, and has a great open feel to it; lots of peripheral vision. Over the years, I've made some sight purchases I regret. This is certainly not one of them.I originally put a Vortex Venom on it and ran out of elevation 6 inches low @ 25 yards. I ended up putting a shim under the rear of the sight which worked but trashed any chance of repeat-ability. The C-More had no issues with elevation and the 8 MOA dot is a major improvement over the fuzzy 3 MOA dot of the Venom. My only real complaint is that it does not come with a cover so I had to find one on Ebay. It’s a C-MORE they’ve been around forever and it’s obvious! Quality! Sighting in is a little funky the elevation screw is very tight. (Yes i unscrewed the locking hex). Crystal clear lense, no blue at all. One thing to know is they hand tool the serial number in on the bottom. The red dot on off switch is hard to manipulate especially for someone like myself with dexterity issues (I think the click switch c-more is easier to dial) overall very happy and doesn’t it look great on my ghm9!!
