AC/DC is one of those rare bands that transcends eras. They've achieved so much success during their near-fifty year run. You have the 1970s Bon Scott era. The 1980s monster success era. The 1990s, where they still packed arenas and stadiums across the globe while grunge was killing the once-popular hair bands of the 80s. The lads continue to release good albums and tour the world today. Flick of the Switch is one of my favorites. This one is often over-looked by even hardcore fans. This is, in my opinion, the last truly great album they've released. Don't misunderstand what I mean. AC/DC has released many really good albums in the years since this one saw release in 1983. But this one is great. It is the third album of the Brian Johnson era (Back in Black, For Those About to Rock) and this trilogy is pure brilliance.
