This is the correct part for my 2006 Ford Escape XLT Sport 4X4 V-6. The first one that I ordered, that was supposed to fit. Was to small at the threads. My truck was showing low oil pressure at idle in gear at around 700 RPMs. The light would go out at 900 RPMs. I thought this was strange with the mileage only around 120,000 and the engine running and sounding fine (no knocking or tapping). This new switch seems to have solved the problem. It was a bit of a pain to change. The switch is located to the left of the oil filter and behind the AC compressor. I removed the oil filter to get to it.
